Default Master Mission in HM should = Master in Normal Mode

If you earn the masters/bonus for a mission in Hard Mode, I think you should automatically earn that designation in Normal mode, too.

Why should I have to repeat the mission in nomal mode if I've mastered it in Hard?

Because you get more skillpints and gold.

And because 'punish' skills like dtonation work better against Hard mode monsters.

With a certain build, some missions are even easi... ahem... faster done in hard mode.

Hard mode and normal mode are two different things, so the rewards should stay separate.

You could just do everything in Hard Mode, and max out two titles in doing so. Not only that, but a lot of people have already gotten the protector titles from Normal Mode, either from before Hard Mode was implimented or since, and to do what you suggest would mean that these people were doing everything twice and you don't. I think if I and many, many others had to do everything twice in Normal and Hard to achieve both titles, the rest of you should have to aswell.

I should have been clear. If you master in HM, you should get all uncollected rewards for gold, exp, and skill points from Normal Mode. Good point.

I highly doubt any missions are faster in HM than NM. It's possible some skills work faster. I'll buy that. Missions faster? Without some better evidence, I'm gonna have to call BS on that one.

Not intended as a flame, but why post? Lol.

Yeah. That's the point. You can also work on a couple of titles when you vanquish: vanquisher & explorer, not to mention treasure hunter and the wisdom track.

That's a reasonable point, but to me it's a weak one. You still have to beat the mission in hard mode and get masters. That's just not that easy. Forcing a player to repeat the mission in Normal mode for the title just smacks of pointless grind.
